The minimalism of color and clothing was a relevant feature in the German genius. Does Albert Einstein have any influence on fashion? Let's find out.
FASHION ON FLEEK

Einstein is historically recognized for each of his contributions to physics and science. However, the german physic was a great influence on fashion. Albert Einstein can be considered as the father and pioneer of the Normcore style, which today, many years later, is still a trend.
Normcore is based on authenticity. Minimalism and the mixture of basic garments and neutral colors were the protagonists of the German genius's closet. It is based on basic, simple, seemingly casual, and unstudied looks. This trend took off around 2016, but Einstein did it much earlier! Einstein hated socks, loved the color grey, and his best companion was a Levi's Menlo Cossack leather jacket - from the 1930s.

The uniform combinations of garments were weighed by the genius as efficient, and at the same time, to achieve mental consistency. The decision-making process is part of our daily life. Choosing which clothes to wear can influence your productivity and motivation daily. The genius opted for the basic, classic and uncomplicated.
Although Einstein was not afraid of becoming a clone, he was in charge of rejecting the standard fashion of his time beyond his theory of relativity. He said no to suspenders and even eliminated ties. Besides, his hair was a symbol of irreverence, and he thought about aesthetics as something secondary, but in the end, he managed to make his style comfortable and irreverent.

The normcore is a style studied in detail that emerges as a movement that rebounds to hipsterism: when the alternative became mainstream, normality became a way to differentiate.
The normcore advocates avoiding "decision fatigue," the process of More Stuff = More Choices = More Stress. Just an ideal style for the actual worldwide situation and the pandemic where everybody is staying at home or want to feel a little quiet and discreet.

The narrative of a basic closet enclosed the genius of an icon of science. The color gray advocates neutrality, stability, and intelligence. Being gray, a color so variable according to the amount of light it has different symbolic meanings.
The darker and closer to black, the gray tone is, the more it will be associated with elegance, mystery, and drama. The lighter it is and the closer it is to white, the more it will be associated with calmness and the ability to overcome difficult situations.

The balance between fashion and science was reflected in the minimalism of the German. Einstein would leave a legacy for later generations where genius shone through the closet and the basics. Steve Jobs and Marck Zuckerberg are icons of success, intelligence, and normcore.
In the fashion ecosystem, basic garments can achieve great looks that are considered as references. The garments are a reflection of our personality, our emotions.
Simplicity and minimalism also have a place in the trends, which even come from great geniuses who have made their style iconic for future generations. The mix of neutral colors can create a sophisticated and elegant look. Thanks to Einstein for his great contribution!! And you? What style do you stay with?
